I had bought this top for New Years Eve but I already knew how I wanted to style it through out the New Year, this being one of the looks I had in mind. I love the fullness of the top and the girly pastel pink. Since it's such a feminine top I wanted to play with contrasting edgier details like ripped jeans or boyfriend jeans paired with a pair of pumps. Turtle necks are the perfect layer piece during the winter, you can style them under a v-neck sweater or a tank top style shirt (such as this one) or even a sleeveless dress. I will def. be styling this top during fashion week, almost the same way but with different accessories. That will be to coming up on the blog!
What do you think of the oversized peplum top?
Love your coat! x
ReplyDeleteLove the layers and mixing of textures. This look is just all kinds of amazing! xx Bethany
ReplyDeletethe jeans and pumps look good together. as for the oversize peplum, i've always wanted to buy one! i like that it sort of has an odd shape where it makes it seem like you're wearing a little girl's dress as a top but looks really cool specially paired with skinnies or boxy shorts. =)

Super cute! It would be nice to hide a belly under hehe (not that you need to). I like the idea of styling it with edgier details to balance out the girliness :)
