Three weeks before our wedding one of the worst wedding nightmares happened to us...our wedding venue closed their doors (you can read about that
here). It's funny that after the three weeks of a crazy haze we ended up having the most beautiful wedding I could have ever asked for. If the only thing that went wrong was there were no flowers on the wedding cake and I didn't even realize it until after the wedding, then I consider that a win. Seriously, after having our reception venue close and taking our money with it, it really made us realize what was truly important to us. Brides complain about their color of their flowers not being right or the smallest details, but in the end all that matters is that you and your husband tie the knot surrounded by your friends and family. The day went fast. The night was one huge fun sweaty blur. It was truly one of the happiest and best times of my life. I was asked recently what part of the wedding was my favorite and I honestly couldn't pick one. Was it seeing my husband-to-be for the first time that day? Or was it saying "I Do?" Or was it dancing and singing to "Getting Jiggy With It"? In a weird twist of faith I'm glad that reBar shut us out. So here's a fun one of us in front of reBar after taking photos up on their roof.
Sorry for the photo overload but we have so many good shots and these were the "few" that I wanted to share with you all.
Congratulations with being a newly weds, these pictures are lovely and

Sweet Heather,
ReplyDeleteYou made the MOST beautiful bride. And reading about your reception venue closing gave me utter chills. It sounds like you handled that situation with such ease and grace. And by how the photos turned out, it doesn't seem like there was any flaw. It seems almost more perfect.
Congratulations, you two! This is absolutely amazing. Your love is absolutely amazing.

ReplyDeleteAn impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!
