Style Guide: How to Wear a Denim Skirt to Work


Skirt the rules, break out a denim skirt for work. To pull this look off do a light wash denim skirt, like this J.Crew skirt. Do classic silhouettes like a pencil skirt. Stay away from mini skirts, should cut right above the knee, on the knee, or below the knee), and destroyed styles. I love a little white denim skirt to work for the summer. It's easy to dress up for work and then take out to after work cocktails. When doing a basic look keep the jewelry and accessories simple to out over do the look. I like doing simple jewelry in the summer, as it doesn't weigh me down. I adore a fun patterned pump to any simple look. It gives the look more character and depth. I have a feeling this denim skirt will be in my rotation all summer long.
