Inspiration Monday: Sundays
Every Monday I wish it was Sunday again. Sunday's for me are usually spent doing laundry and food shopping with a lot of sitting around on the couch relaxing. Now that it's fall it means football season! Which means a lot of sitting around watching football. My dress code for a typical fall Sunday usually is: a t-shirt, leggings, boot slippers, and a hoodie. Yesterday I broke out the boot slippers that I bought from Urban Outfitters a few years back because it was just that cold in my apartment, plus they are perfect for running up and down the stairs to do laundry (even though I did almost slip down a flight of stairs thank god for railings). I love dressing up but Sundays are my perfect dress down days. Nothing says comfortable and relaxed then a good pair of leggings and a comfy long t-shirt. Even when I have to go to the store I'll throw on my trench jacket and switch the slippers for real boots or flats. I still feel great even in my "Sunday best." Simple, relaxful, and comfortable is what I go for on Sundays (if I don't have anything planned).
I mean usually on the weekends my look is a lot more relaxed then it is during the week since I have to be semi professionally dressed during the week for work. Except on Friday's when I wear jeans. I would like to say that my weekend wardrobe is a lot more relaxed and fun unless I'm going out out, like to a party or dinner or something along those lines where I play dress up. Relaxed chic is what I go for on the weekends.
Is your weekend wardrobe different then your week wardrobe? How do you guys dress down?
