Taylor Swift is a gal with style that is relatable to everyday woman. She looks great down the red carpet as well as on the street. Taylor, like me, loves her hats and red lips (hence why I get told I look like Taylor more often then not). I'm loving this more mod look from her. I've always been a fan of mod-style pieces: bowler hats, fit and flare dresses, etc.. The trick for me when pulling a mod look together is to mix in more modern/up-to-date pieces like ripped jeans or jean jackets (as seen here). You can get Taylor's look for less especially now as coats and jackets are on sale. The best time to stock up on winter gear is January into February as stores start to put there winter clothing on sale to start making room for their spring and summer wear.

Pop country's princess, Taylor Swift, was seen in Alice + Olivia sequin top dress and Neil Lane jewelery at the Pop Awards in Beverly Hills.


This dress looks amazing on her. I love the sequins on it because its just the right amount of glam and the flow of the dress is perfect. Dresses with sequins aren't only perfect for New Years Eve but for a night out on the town, a wedding, or to a special event. Even for Prom, as I know Prom season has started.

You can pull this look off with a simple dress with sequin top piece and strappy heels. You don't even have to over accessories just a little gold bracelet and simple earrings, like Swift, and a clutch bag would pull the look together.

For shoes and clutches you should stick with trying to match the sequin in the dress. If the dress has gold sequin match it with a gold bag and gold shoes, like in the 3rd look.

Another way to pull this look off you can wear a sequin tank top or tube top with a high wasited white skirt. The good thing with doing seperates is that you can pick the length or ruffles of the skirt or the color of the sequins you want.

Try on both separates and dresses and see what you like most. Also, try different neck lines. It's a fun look so you should feel fun and girly with whatever you decide. Don't forget the red lipstick! Red lips can definitely be a great last touch.
