As I've gotten older Halloween has gotten tamer and tamer. This year my friends hosted a Halloween/birthday party. Super laid back but included my favorite activity: making smores by a fire pit. I still do love Halloween, mostly to see all the little kiddos all dressed up. Our neighborhood was hopping Saturday night with everyone trick or treating and all dressed up. I look forward to the day when we have a kid. I loved Halloween as a kid in the city. The building my cousins lived in (a block away from me) use to have kid friendly parties in the basement we would go and play bobbing for apples and dance to Thiller then we would all go trick or treating together. Those are one of my favorite childhood memories. And I want to recreate memories like that for my kids.

How was your Halloween?
