Inspirational Monday: Knotted Shirt
I have been feeling the tie knot shirt look for some time now. It's perfect for those really hot sticky days. Goes great with high waisted shorts or pants or even a little itty bitty bikini. Plus, it's a great option to a cropped top.

Inspirational Monday: Spring Hair
It's been way to long since I got my hair done. I haven't had time to really think about my hair, but then it hit me that it had been almost a year since I got my hair done. Not okay. So took to Pinterest finding cuts and color that I would like for the Spring/Summer. To be honest, there are times when I miss my bangs but if I'm 100% honest I do not miss the up keep. Getting them trimmed every two months, having to blow them out every time I took a shower. So I opted to once again skip on getting the bangs. This time, I went for a lighter color and choppy mid-length cut.

Inspirational Monday: Island Feeling
Between the snow storm last week and this week being "Spring Break" I need some island vibes. The only problem is when you're an adult that is going back to school to get her masters degree there is no such thing as a Spring Break. So instead I've been planning my vacation to Hawaii in May. I can't be more excited about it. Hawaii has felt like my home away from home and this time we are visiting the island Kauai then stopping by Oahu. Between looking up things to do, places to eat and drink...I've also been doing a little Island shopping.

Style Guide: What to Wear at SXSW
This week kicks of SXSW...and once again I'm wishing I was there. If you are headed to SXSW there are few items that are must to take with you.
1. Cowboy Boots. I mean it is Texas after all. If you aren't sure if the country thing is your route opt for a pair of embellished booties...like these from Free people
2. Band Tee. Austin is all about the music scene so a band tee is much needed. A vintage one is even better.
3. Wide Brim Hat. Just like the cowboy boots if your not up to wearing a cowboy hat opt for a wide brim hat instead. Pair with a flowy dress for a boho look.
4. Sweaters. It's pretty warm down in Texas but at night it can get pretty chilly so pack smart and bring a couple of sweaters along with you.
5. Fringe Bag. A fringe bag is a must for any festival. Loving this Steven Madden bag plus the price is hard to beat!

Inspirational Monday: Spring Shopping List
This past weekend's weather has me so ready for Spring. It doesn't help that my husband and I are planning a small weekend away and our big vacation of the year...now all I want to do is shop for Spring/Summer. I'm really loving all of Anthrologie and J.Crew's new arrivals.
