Remi & Emmy's Girls Night Out

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to Remi & Emmy's Girls Night Out Event hosted at the Caravan Studios. You know how much I love my Remi & Emmy bag since I have done multiple style post with it (here, here, and here). It's just one the most blogger friendly and woman friendly bags ever. Hence why I love this new line by Rebecca Minkoff. Instead of focusing on only the everyday woman the Remi & Emmy line also focuses on the everyday fashion blogger. These bags are light weight, have enough room to carry the essential blogger needs aka the camera, and everything else us woman need: cell phone, shoes, make-up, wallet, etc..

The event was a fun way of introducing bloggers to the collection and also seeing what the other sister line R&Em have been up too. Like Minkoff style there was yummy treats-- cupcakes that look like plastic little food toys, turqouis colored rock candy and marshallows. And of course it's not a party without some specialty cocktails which was provided by Hypnotic.

The Remi & Emmy collection is the second sister line to Rebecca Minkoff's name sake line. First it was R&Em which is her vegan line bag that is sold at Macy's but you can also find them on Piperlime.com. This line is also on the lower end especially considering that Minkoff's handbags can go into about the $500 range. The Remi & Emmy collection is similar to her older sister in the fact that they are made of real leather but still has a resemblance of the R&Em collection. It has a middle tier price range which means it's not reaching the steep prices of Minkoff's bags but is still an investment piece. Remi & Emmy has a very cool young hip vibe that works with every woman weather your a downtown chick or uptown chic. The bag in itself is versatile and its all in how you dress. This collection is perfect for the spring time especially with the candy coated bags like the fushia Flatiron Paulina Clutch or the coral Flatiron Brooke Satchel. These bags are sold exclusively at Lord and Taylors and Dillards.
