I just loved that pairing up her blazer with her snake print pants helped tone down the look. It gave it a great casual look but for a day time affair. Her look really made me rethink my whole view on my pants and actually made me want to try to pull this look off for *dum dum dum* work.
Like Adriana I wanted to keep this look tone down but still fun with a pops of color. Key classic pieces are totally important in this look to keeping it day time appropriate. A classic blazer, cape, or trench in neutral colors can bring in feminine elements. Use your shirt and accessories to play with color. Wearing a bright pink shirt or brightly colored top plays up the fun of this outfit. No one says that your day time out has to be boring! Don't over load this look with to many accessories. Pick one necklace that will pop with the look. Keep all other accessories simple and neutral. Pairing up the whole look with a simple pump and a polished bag is just the cherry on top for this outfit.
I finally got the guts to wear my snake print pants to the office and actually got a ton of compliments. I took my own advice and went with my brightly colored pink J.Crew sweater and colorblocked it with my H&M green jeweled necklace. To keep the whole look together and polished I paired it with my Target black pumps and R&Em bag. Instead of the blazer I switched it out for another classic piece, my Ann Taylor cape.

I think what I loved must about this look is that it takes you from day time to night time. So if you have afterwork plans all you have to do is switch out your make-up even just a simple swap of lipstick shades would do the trick.
