Blogging 101: Staying Focused with Intel
Fashion blogging is all about staying on top of the latest fashion trends and news, as well as staying inspired. My Intel HP Pavilion 2-in-1 serves as my information and inspiration board. I put together a list of applications that help me stay connected, focused and inspired.

Fashion magazines are always a great source of inspiration as wells as latest trends and news. I love that with my 2-in-1 I can instantly download my favorite magazines like ELLE, Vogue, and NYLON right away instead of going to a local store in hopes they have the latest issue. Plus it's easier to carry then a bunch of magazines.
OneNote:
OneNote is a fun note taking application that lets me free flow some post ideas. It not only allows you to take notes but you can insert pictures as well as sketch right onto the page. I use this to jot down ideas for upcoming post and to build looks. Also great to keep ideas and information organized while at a show or a meeting.
MinimaList:
The Minimalist app helps me stay on track with what blog post have to be finished and what is already done. This keeps me on track with my editorial calendar. This app can help you stay on top any task from daily routines to your work schedule.

I have to give it to Mitchell from Project Runway for his brilliant one liner that the title of this post was named after. The season opener was filled with amazing one liners but his was perfection, as he hails from the Sunshine State (aka Florida) and loves to wear his cut-offs. There's no real admission here but, I'm a total fan of short shorts...always have been and will be until I can't pull them off anymore.

Foodie Friday: Summer Cocktails with Voli Vodka
My husband on Sunday afternoon made us his version of a creamsicle cocktail using Voli's Orange Vanilla Vodka. We enjoyed the view from our roof while sipping his cocktails. This is the perfect refreshing cocktail for the summer. Plus it's so simple to make!
Creamsicle Cocktail
1½ oz Voli Orange Vanilla
2 oz Orange Soda (used Fanta)
Glass: Highball (or favorite mason jar)
Garnish: Orange Wheel
Serve over ice and stir
Who loves orange soda with Voli's Orange Vanilla Vodka? Heather, loves orange soda with Voli's Orange Vanilla Vodka. I also want to try and make this creamsicle float using the orange vanilla vodka. Maybe at our next BBQ/Party?

Shoesday: Bar III's Exciting Shoe Debut
On a very rainy Shoesday Tuesday night I made my way down to Chelsea to make the Bar III shoe launch held at the Milk Studios' Penthouse. Guest were greeted with cocktails, popcorn, and even ice-cream...really, this is how EVERY shoesday should be celebrated! It was dreary outside but inside was popping with live performances by MisterWives and Lily Lane.
Luckily for you, you don't have to wait to get your hands on a pair Bar III shoes. Bar III just launched their shoe line next month exclusively sold at Macy's and Macys.com! You can already find a few designs on sale now! Their shoes are budget friendly, priced from $49 to $99, and fall fashion ready. They have you covered from pumps to knee high boots. A couple of my favorite looks were the Gloria Pump, which is a great take on the Mary Jane shoe, and the leopard print peep-toe open back bootie.
