What to Wear with a Sheer Maxi Skirt Part 2

I did a post a few weeks back on what to wear with a sheer maxi skirt (which you can read here); one of the tips that I gave was to wear a colored mini skirt underneath a sheer maxi. I got a few comments saying that they would have like to have seen this look being pulled off, so I figured that I would post pictures of me wearing this style.

Adding a brighly colored mini just adds a pop of color under a sheer skirt-- which works well with lighter shades like nudes and whites. I simply styled my American Apparel white maxi with my H&M mini skirt. To keep it fun and not looking like all one piece do a printed top like my striped H&M tank top. For the summer I like to keep my accessories to a minimal since I hate feeling weighed down in the heat.

Just remember when picking your mini skirt wear one with out texture. This gives you a smooth look and feel.

What do you think about wearing a bright mini under a sheer maxi? Would you give it a try?
