Parkchoonmoo Spring 2012 Collection

Parkchoonmoo who? Chances are you never even heard of this line or the designer Demi Park well things are about to change my friend. I honestly didn't know who or what Parkchoonmoo was until after I found her on a list for fashion week, something about the name jumped out at me and made me want to Google it. Google I did and from the moment I landed on her homepage I knew I was in for it. I looked over her Spring 2011 Collection and Fall 2011 collection and from those two shows alone I KNEW I wanted to be at her Spring 2012 collection.

Park didn't show under the tents but instead at the Eyebeam Art + Technology Center down in Chelsea. This space was PERFECT for her artsy take on her homeland Korea. Beautiful deconstructed clothing with overlays of fabrics. Pops of reds and blues stuck out between the blacks and whites. Models walked down the runway to sick beats that couldn't help but make you feel like you were in an underground grunge club. The whole look and vibe of the Parkchoonmoo show was probably my favorite out of all the shows that I had attended. And some how I got to enjoy it all in the front row.
