NYFW: Chadwick Bell Spring 2013

Chadwick Bell kick started my Mercedes Benz Fashion Week by being my first show in the tents. There really is nothing like your first show of the week at the tents. It's just like coming back home after a long time being away. It's nice to be greeted by familiar faces that also remember you. With that being said Chadwick Bell's show was a good way to start MBFW off. I love runways that are set up uniquely. The models not only walked down the middle of the runway but when going back they walked down the aile in between the 2nd and 3rd row. It gave those in the back a chance to view the looks but also see the backs up close. I was lucky enough to nab a 2nd row seat so I was able to turn around and see the back of the looks closely. The runway was ruled by lots of neutral tone colors including shades of nudes, whites, and blacks with pops of color with yellow and evergreens. One of my favorite looks was a evergreen lace dress that had an open back with a flat zipper running through the back. Another one of my favorite looks were the cropped palazzo pants. It's a great take on the palazzo pant but adding a spring/summer feel to it with out adding a print.

  7. Sounds like a very interesting runway set-up and it must have been very cool to be able to see the details up close. I also think that evergreen lace dress is just beautiful!
