Prepping for Fashion Week with Arrojo Studio

I can't believe it's here...one of my favorite times of the year...Fashion Week. I don't think a lot of people understand how much work goes into prepping for Fashion Week and how much work this week really is for a blogger. Yes yes we get to go to fashion shows and see beautiful women/men dress in beautiful clothing (life is so hard), but I do take this serious. Which means getting down to business before fashion week. Not only does it take time to write endless emails to PR reps but it takes time to prep yourself for one of the most fashionable weeks of the year. This means a laundry list of stuff including: getting your wardrobe ready, eyebrows done, nails did, and wait...HAIR! AH! I've been prepping my closet for the past few months (don't you laugh there's one dress in particular that I've been holding out on for this moment). Eyebrows..nails...they are pretty much kept up...But hair on the other hand welllllllllll....My color is fading and roots have grown in...Time for a color change! Thankfully Arrojo Studio is there to save the day.

I'm probably the most indecisive person you will ever met-- I'm a Libra what else can I say-- so trying to figure out a color is pretty difficult. What I decided was to go a dark cherry red since I loved the darker red chocolate color I had back last fall and it faded better with out a lot of roots growing in. Sadly Ashley was on vacation, but Nora was there to help me get the color that I so much needed. Me trying to describe what I wanted is always difficult but it was fun trying to figure it out together. I was her test baby-- she tried mixing some fashion color tones with more natural tones together. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous but I trusted her and her Arrojo training. The result was a fashion cherry red color for sure!

I don't even want to discuss the shape that my bangs were in. Lazy is what I was. I let them grow out pretty long and looked like a sheep dog. Now I can see and don't have to push my bangs out the way thanks to Lee.

To be honest I feel like a total bad ass with my dark red hair. The copper tone made me feel sweet but the dark red hair makes me feel a little more like a rebel...without a cause. I really do think I was meant to be a red head.
