I can't believe we are in the midst of the Holiday season. This year has went by so fast! Before we know it we'll be ringing in the New Year! I hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving. It wouldn't have been Thanksgiving for me without some sort of drama. Thanksgiving started off with my Grandma in the emergency room (she's fine her arthritis was really bad), but after all that it was nice and calm. I'm totally looking froward to the Christmas season-- (my favorite time of year) gift giving, cookie making, and Christmas music!

October by far was the most rememberable and wonderful times in my life. Not only did I get the chance to visit Hawaii but my loving boyfriend proposed to me right out on the beach during sunrise at Hanauma Bay. It's one of those times that I would love to relive since it all happened so fast and it felt so unreal. I wish I had it on video so that I can relive it and actually see it instead of crying while having a weird out of body experience. With how lovely my October started it was crazy how it ended with a hurricane that rocked the east coast. I never would have imagined my city flooded, subways shut up, homes destroyed...it's just devastating. Luckily I and my family made it out fine but my heart goes out to all the families that lost everything and have had their lives destroyed.

This month was truly non-stop. I feel like I hadn't had a moment to myself or a real break since Fashion Week. I constantly have been on the go because of work, writing, and other things in between. Speaking of which, I still have so much writing for Fashion Week to catch up on. But I must admit getting to play with the cutest little boxer ever made my month. At least this week I leave for Hawaii which is exactly what I need, a nice break and away from it all.

I didn't even really realize that today was going to be the first until yesterday! Here we are in September -- one of my favorite months! Not only because of Fashion Week but it's my birthday month. I am looking forward to the cooler weather since this summer was pretty brutal heat wise. Are you guys looking forward to the fall?
