Have You Ever Thought....

....yes this is it!? Thank you to the editor-in chief, Samantha Lim, over at Lookbooks.com for allowing me to be a contributor writer for fashionindie.com (their sister website) because yesterday I got to cover 3 amazing designers in the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week tent. This was my first time ever inside the Fashion Week tents and it was amazing. Going to shows and being really active this week has really made me realize that this is it...this is what I want to do. Going back to my paying job today was sort of heartbreaking since yesterday was a total dream. It wasn't only the fact that it was the fashion week tents, it was the whole atmosphere that I also fell in love with. The buzz, the people, the street fashion, everyone connecting and talking. It was like I was in my own element. It's crazy to be really hit in the face like that. But simply: this was it.

I've never been so proud of my little blog. Something that started out tiny has brought me so far. Thanks to blogging I've meet some really awesome people and it has allowed me to go out and cover some really amazing events.

Anyway you can read my three articles on the shows: Jenny Packham, GUiSHEM, and Callula Lillibelle.

There is a 4th show that I went to at the Audi Forum on Park Ave., which is an Audi showroom. Yes a car showroom on Park Ave! It was totally cool and totally different much like the designer Masha Kravtsova for Muscovites. That will be posted soon as well.

Here are a few photos from Monday....I will do a few photo post once fashion week is over and everything starts to quiet down....

  2. OMG, that's a huge deal, I'm so happy for you! I haven't had my *aha* moment yet, but I do get a flutter in my heart every time I read a good blog/article or attempt to attend a fashion event (I say attempt, because it often fails due to circumstances well beyond my control) so I know there's something here for me.. you're an inspiration :) Fantastically candid shots also!
