Madina Vadache Spring 2011 Collection "Transparency" at the Vileck Foundation

Madina Vadache fashion exhibit "Transparency" at the Vileck Foundation. Spring 2011 Collection.

Last night the Vileck Foundation hosted an event for their newest exhibit, Madina Vadache's "Transparency." It was a night of fashion, food, wine, and chatting. The exhibit features 19 designs from her 2011 Spring collection. Vadache's work is fantastic and beautiful. Her work with sheer fabrics are outstanding. And the little details, like the small pieces of jewels, make the clothing all that much more special. One of her signature pieces is the bridal dress (the white dress with the train). My favorite pieces were the black dress with the sheer bottom and the pink dress with the one shoulder strap. I just love the tier work on the black dress and the little details with the jewels and feathers. The pink dress reminds me a lot of my Amanda Uprichard dress, mostly because of the color. I usually don't like one shoulder strap dresses but the detail on the strap, the twist, and the bow just make the dress.

I'm lucky enough to have known about this event through my boyfriend who works at this wonderful foundation. Now that you know about it and have seen the wonderful work from Vadache you should go see it in person if you are in or around NYC.

Please visit the Vileck Foundation. The exhibit is free.

  1. WOW. All of these pieces are so beautiful, it's difficult to choose a favorite! I would have to go with either the structured-shouldered-champagne-colored-deep-v dress or the first cream-flowered mini dress!
