NYFW Fall 2014: Breaking the Mold with Emerson by Jackie Fraser-Swan

You know a fashion show is going to be good when it starts with Lorde, which is exactly how Emerson kicked off her Fall 2014 show. Fitting within her asesthic Jackie Fraser-Swan presented a collection of bold beautiful punk meets feminine line of clothing. This season Jackie wanted to really focus on "breaking the mold" and shattering the idea of how woman should dress and act. This collection was full of feminine pieces that were part edgy and part punk.

I love that Jackie is all about the feminine punk rocker. Why can't you love rock music and sequins? Jackie clearly shows that you can be punk rock, love sequins and be sexy all at the same time.  I've always been a fan of mixing and matching edgier pieces with feminine frocks. I myself am a rocker at heart but love girly cuts..and of course glitter. So this whole collection was once again up my alley. I adored the "Break the Mold" sweater (yay more text sweaters!!)...and I mean it was hard to deny that the sequin snow suit was pretty freaking awesome. I also loved her super sexy maxi dresses with sheer cutouts. Just a hint to keep them guess!

What do you think of Emerson's Fall 2014 collection?
