It' a New Year!

NYE was one hell of a night. First off my Zara fur bag which I haven't used broke! At least I didn't get out the door with it. I used my awesome rocker clutch bag that my friend from work bough for me. 2nd the Time Square area is one big shit show. It took a good 40 minutes for us to get passed the police check point to get to the club we were going to. Even then the only let me and my two girlfriends through and made my bf and the rest of the guys stand and wait. It took the guys about an hour and half to get in the club because of that and the club wouldn't let them in since they were to busy letting in the VIPs. Mind you we were still 10 blocks away from where the ball dropped and it still was a mess. The police officers who were working the 52nd and 8th Ave blocks were straight up nasty. I went to try and talk to one of them to see if I could just get the guys over and this one cop just started yelling at me. I just can't understand what the hell their problem was. The whole thing was just really upsetting and never again will we go anywhere near Time Square on NYE. Anyway, once everyone was in the club it was a good time. Meet up with a few of my friends who were already there and partied all night.

Now that we are in a New Year it means a fresh new start. Here are a few of my New Years Resolutions:
1. Better Healthier Me. My parents got me a 3 month gym membership to the gym right down the block from me. So this means I have no excuse to not get my butt into shape. Gym and healthier eating for me. No more eating crap and being a total fatty and I'm going to stick to it!
2. Building Up My Wardrobe. I've decided that I want to build up my wardrobe. I'm tired of wearing H&M everything. I would like to have designer names in my closet which means stop spending my money on stores like H&M and Forever21 and spending that money at Sample Sales. I would rather save my money and spend it more wisely. And what better way to expand your closet then through Sample Sales.

Hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year's Eve!

Also 100 followers!! OMG! I will be doing a special giveaway soon to celebrate the new year and having 100 followers! :D Thank you to everyone! This is def. the best way to start the New Year!

  3. Sounds like great resolutions! I like your idea of building up the wardrobe. Too bad about the Zara bag breaking, but it looks like you had a fantastic time partying! http://thearcenciel.blogspot.com/

  5. I hate how nasty the cops are in NYC at new year's. I was in Times Sq two years ago to see the ball drop with my boyfriend and the cops were ridiculously rude. Glad to see you had a good time though! =]

  6. I don;t understand....it must be like this in all city centres of big cities. In Toronto, the New Years Eve central celebration is at Nathan Philips Square and I somehow managed to escape alive from there, it was so crazy. I do not think I am going anywhere near there ever. The best NYEs are probably always spent at low key obscure places with your friends.

I love your resolutions though. Those are the exact two resolutions I have. :)

Look forward to hearing from you

  7. I've been absent over the christmas and new year so wishing you a very belated happy new year. It looks like you had an amazing time. I love your goals for 2011. It's quite easy to just build up your wardrobe with pieces from H&M etc But sometimes it's definitely worth spending a little extra and get something that will last a little longer.

P.S can't believe I wasn't following you on twitter, just started following now.
