Outfit Post: Summer Layering

I picked up the green button down top from the Kimberly Taylor sample sale on Tuesday, along with a pair of silver short shorts. I had a hard choice to make at sale since there was no way to afford the shorts, the button down top, and the kimono tunic. I went with the button down top since I could wear it lots of different ways and it can go from spring to fall. It's also a great layering piece. It's probably my new favorite piece of clothing that I own. Talking about favorites I had on two of my favorite trends on today, mint green (thanks to my camera light turn a lot lighter) and a high low skirt. I can not get enough of either one of them. I'm also happy that I finally wore this UO skirt again, I haven't worn it since me and the bf took the trip to the indoor park. I don't really know what I have been waiting for. I also some how managed to get home without killing my self: wedges + rain + a clumsy girl = an unsafe situation. I got caught in the pouring rain coming home from a Rebecca Minkoff event thankfully I had my umbrella but still managed to get nice and wet. Tomorrow looks like more thunderstorms, as long as it breaks up this nasty humidity I'm okay with it. I'm hoping it clears up by Saturday since the bf and I plan on going to a BBQ thing in the city.
