Rebecca Minkoff's Girls Night Out Event

Rebecca Minkoff and Mintbox.com hosted a Girls Night Out Event at Minkoff's showroom Wednesday night. It was a night of drinks, stuffing your face with as many yummy macaroons and red velvet cake lollipops as you could, and tweeting madness. One way to really get bloggers to view your collection is by hosting a twitter competition, seriously! It's was a twitter frenzy since all of us wanted to win a bag (which again I apologize to all my twitter followers about). I didn't end up winning but it still didn't put a damper on my night. I had such a wonderful time hanging out with some of the girls from the Fashion Meet-up Group, Arrojo Studio Crew, Minkoff and company and all the other lovely bloggers that were there. Mostly, I enjoyed creating a mental checklist of bags, shoes, AND clothes to put on my WANT LIST for this Fall (I already have begun to circle things in her lookbook for reals).

Rebecca Minkoff's Fall collection ranges from rocker glam to vintage queen. Some of my favorites are from both end of these spectrums.  She has a collection of studded bags that come in all different sizes and colors. My two favorite bags out of all the studded bags are her take on the Alexander Wang Rocco Bag (which I have been lusting over FOREVER now) and her bag that has studs on the side instead of the bottom of the bag. These bags are perfect to take from day to night and add a little bit of edginess to any outfit.

For the vintage look I really loved the Zebra bag (which Preity from Fashion Solace won!) The metal zebra heads add an extra vintage look to the quilted design of the bag. A couple of other of her bags had a 1970s feel with an update to it like the Cali bag in red. These modern updates have a crisp chic and casual look to it.

Like always Rebecca Minkoff's Fall 2011 collection has something for every woman, hence why woman every where love her. You can find yourself in her bag collection, clothes, and shoes. I advise you to start skipping those Starbucks runs so you can save up for one these pieces.

Lastly I leave you with a picture of me taken by the awesome photographer Dave Ducane and an offer from Mintbox.com.
